Description

Cow with Lord Krishna on a circular stand in multicolor. Made out of Polyresin to give this showpiece a beautiful look. Kamadhenu or Kamaduha(the cow of plenty): The name Kamadhenu came from the Sanskrit root, “Kamaduha”, which means, “the cow of plenty” and “the one through whom all desires are fulfilled”. It is believed that each part of the kamdhenu cow embodies a particular deity & is worshipped as the divine wish-fulfilling cow goddess, according to Hindu mythology. Divine Cow: This divine cow, which lives in swargalok (heaven), emerged from the ocean of milk (Ashira-sugar) at the time of Samudra-Manthan (the great churning of the ocean by the gods (suras) and demons (asuras). It was presented to the seven sages by the Gods, and in course of time came into the possession of Sage Vasishta. It is believed that as Kalpa-vriksha(heavenly tree) Kamadhenu, in the same way, fulfills the desires of those who approach it with Pragya and devotion. Kamadhenu also known as Surabhi, is a divine goddess described in Hinduism as the Cow of Wish. Kamadhenu is a cow of plenty who fulfills all the wishes and is portrayed as the mother of all cows. Fulfills all the wishes of the worshipper: Kamadhneu is also known as a Gayatri and is worshipped as a heavenly cow. It is also known as Nanda, Sunanda, Surabhi, Susheela, and Sumana. It gives health, wealth, happiness, and growth in life. This cow lives in heaven and emerged from the ocean of milk (Khirsagar) during Samudra Manthan.
